DON'T QUIT!

I just wanted to take the time to remind you that though we are in the world, we are not of the world, therefore we don't have to be governed by the circumstances and conditions of this world. Yes we have to DEAL with them, but we don't have to be DOMINATED by them. There is a major DIFFERENCE!
There is still much talk about the financial uncertainty of today's economic climate. However, we don't have live by the world's economy! God never promised to supply all our need according to the world's economy; He promised to supply ALL of our NEEDS accorinding to HIS RICHES IN GLORY (or heaven's economy) by Christ (The Anointed King and His burden romoving, yoke destroying power)! (Philippians 4:19)
But there are PROMISES THAT MUST BE BELIEVED and PRINCIPLES THAT MUST BE OBEYED to make this a reality in your and my life. The problem is never with God. He's always ready to do His part when we do our part. Romans 8:32 says that since God did not spare His own Son, how shall He not with Him freely give US all things? God is not holding anything back from us because He gave us His very best when He gave us Jesus. You got the best when you got Jesus! Everything else is junk in comparrison.
In Joshua 1:8, we are told to keep the Word of God in our Mouth and in our Heart and Mind through Meditation, so that we observe to do according to all that is written therein. Then we, not God, will make our own way prosperous and have GOOD SUCCESS! It will be God's miracle working power giving us the power to obtain wealth (Dueteronomy 8:18), but by keeping the word of God in our mouths and meditating in it day and night, then we will have the spiritual substance of faith working through us to tap into the supernatural power of God that has been made available to us, so that we can transform our circumstances, challenges and conditions in life, as we observe to live by it's promises and principles.
Right now, we are holding faith clinics on Tuesday Evenings at our church. Why? In Luke 18:8, our Lord ask this question: "When the Son of Man (Jesus) returns, will He find faith on the earth?" In one of our recent clinics we talked a great deal about the difference between what I call the "substance of faith" and the "mechanics of faith". Most teaching today centers mostly on the mechanics of faith, which involve Asking, Believing, Confessing and Corresponding Actions. However there is a simple truth that we must always remember: "Faith (the substance of faith) comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God". If we don't feed our spirit man deeply on the Word of God, we really won't have the substance of faith that is necessary to produce what the mechanics of faith are designed to bring to pass.
So I just want to encourage you not to let the economy or your circumstances get you down or hold you down. But rather to get in to the Word of God like never before because the Apostle Paul has told us that the scriptures are given so that we can become perfect (or mature) and thoroughly furnished, or completely supplied! Learn the Word so that you can learn how to operate in strong faith. Then fight the good fight of faith, for we win if we DON'T QUIT!
